The Equality Foundation carries out a variety of projects and advocacy efforts to achieve its strategic goals. We use our collective lived experiences to develop projects and advocate on behalf of our users to shape policies and practices. We offer a number of projects that are designed to meet the specific needs of our service users.
Relief Project:
We offer emergency relief assistance to individuals and families who are facing unexpected hardship such as homelessness, food insecurity, or other crises. This project provides food vouchers, cash for utilities, period poverty, food and essential needs. Depending on the needs of each beneficiary, we will provide support to 100–200 BAME residents. Many of our beneficiaries will be families with multiple generations living in the same home.
